![]() The Monte Carlo name came from needing to assign a code word to the technique and, somewhat unlike the method’s results, the Monte Carlo name was not determined by chance. The technique was developed by Stanislav Ulam and John von Neumann during their top-secret work on nuclear weapons in the 1940s as part of the Manhattan Project. They use randomness to obtain meaningful information and are effective for calculating business risks and predicting failures such as cost or scheduling overruns. This paper is an attempt to analyze the instances of use of queuing theory in various applications and benefits acquired from the same. Applications of queuing theory is increased day by day in the fields of banking sector, healthcare, traffic control, computer Parallel System and Distributed system are also have the base of Queue models. Queuing theory is used widely in engineering and industry for analysis and modelling of processes that involve waiting lines. Queuing theory is the mathematical study of waiting lines and it is very useful to define Modern information technologies require innovations that are based on modelling, analyzing, designing to deals with. Everyone has experienced waiting in line at the traffic control of daily life of human like telecommunications, reservation counter, super market, big bazaar, Picture Cinema hall ticket window and also to determining the sequence of computer operations, computer performance, health services, airport traffic, and airline ticket sales like any number of other places. Waiting is an intimate dimension of our daily lives. Finally, we illustrate the use of these models through various communication applications. Queuing theory as discussed in this paper is organized and a simulation of queuing system and the necessary mathematical tools are developed to analyze them. Numerous problems and more motivate the development of a queuing theory. Examples include: A Telecommunication System staffing a call centre and measuring system parameters like average time that a call spend in the system ,average waiting time for those calls which are waiting. Empirical distribution of Service Time and Inter-arrival Time of call has an impact on the performance of Queuing models. ![]() For better understanding we have considered a Virtual Telecommunication System, is presented with help of Microsoft Excel. In this paper we analyze various models of the Single server queuing system with necessary implementation using Microsoft Excel and Matlab Software. Analysis of the models helps to increases the performance of the system.
