Scheduling and planning has its place and is important, but not at the risk of your mental well-being. and what do you know? i never ever got all of it done. i couldnt enjoy time with family on Sundays because I knew i had so much i wanted to do before monday. and in turn, i always felt restless.because as much as i wanted to relax sometimes, i couldn't. i never really "completed" a list because as soon as one thing was checked off, i replaced it with another. recently, i found that i focused way too much on the to do lists/checklists. But i'll add something: while the book definitely got me on the planning and productivity hype train, i took scheduling my week and months out pretty seriously. ![]() It's actually one of the books that changed my life as far as how I view productivity.
